DR. EDUARDO
GUTIERREZ-ONG is a
highly respected Management and
Public
Relations Consultant, Educator Real Estate Broker and Consultant,
Arbitrator,
Mediator and Entrepreneur. Rose
from the
ranks from a mere storekeeper at the Malabon Public Market at the age
of 12,
became the President and CEO of various corporations engaged in Real
Estate,
Business Consultancy and the academe.
Dr. Ong is a full blooded Thomasian, academic
qualification
consists of
five degrees, B.S.
in Commerce, Master
Degree in Commerce, Ph D. in Commerce, Bachelor of Laws and Doctor of
Public
Administration; was conferred Diplomate in Business Education (DBE) by
Phil.
Academy of Professionals in Business Education; A fellow in Real Estate
Management and a fellow in Personnel Management.
Dr. Ong has
extensive experience in the
academe for
25 years; having served as Dean of Business and Vice President for
Academic
Affairs of respected universities in Metro Manila.
He is currently a Professor of Business
Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sto.
Tomas, University of the East, Phil. School of Business Administration,
Graduate School of Business and Polytechnic
University
of the Philippines. He was awarded Most
Outstanding alumnus of UST
College
of Commerce and Graduate School;
2006
outstanding
citizen of Malabon in the field of Business (GAWAD Katangian Award);
outstanding Leadership award from Rotary International among others.
Dr.
Ong is a noted speaker and resource person in business and industry;
prolific
writer; former columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, author of
two
business books and a broadcaster hosted Television program at IBC-13
Pilipinas
Ngayon (2004) and Entrepinoy in (2005).
Presently, He is Vice President and Chairman
of Training and
Education
Committee of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President
of the
PCCI Credit Cooperative Inc.; President of National Center for
Mediation (NCR);
President of the Philippine Institute of Management and Applied
Technology and
President Worldlink Realty and Management Corporation.
He is an active Regional Quality assessor and
member of the Technical Panel for Business of the Commission on Higher
Education (CHED) and a member of the Board of the Technical Education
and
skills development authority (TESDA).
He
is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Paul University Philippines
and
Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology and
Chairman
of Capital Market
Institute of the Philippines.
